The theme of this World Champs: each day is more exciting than the one before. Full of surprises, with new stars and some old stars, each event gets down to duels between some of the finest athletes in the world.
The crowds go crazy, cheering on their favorites and the surprises! Laulauga Tausage improved by 4 meters on her fifth throw to win the Women’s Discus and take the US to a gold and silver performance!

Three fine high jumpers battled for several hours to determine the best high jumpers of 2023.
And in the steeplechase, it came down to an athlete from Morocco and an athlete from Ethiopia.
Special thanks to Mike Deering for the artwork and for managing the production of these podcasts.
